Next Week at Covenant

We can begin to prepare our hearts by studying and meditating on God’s Word. On Sunday May 31st, Rev. Dr. Eric Watkins will preach during the morning service, taking his sermon, titled “Kingdom Martyrs” from Mark 6: 14-29.  Please read the text in advance with your family and pray for the ministry of the Word.

REOPENING DETAILS – We’re incredibly grateful to resume our in-person services and look forward to seeing you. Do keep in mind we have limited seating. Please be in touch with Brett Caruso ( if you’d like to attend either the morning or evening service or have any questions.

CHANGE TO THE BULLETIN– the bulletin is back to it’s normal format. It will still be viewable online but will not contain all of the hymns and readings. We want you to participate as fully as possible, so if you know that you’ll be continuing to worship via livestream, please reach out to Brett Caruso so that we can arrange to have a copy of the new Trinity Psalter Hymnal dropped off at your home.

COVENANT YOUTH- will resume meeting in person beginning on Wednesday, May 27th. Covenant teens meet in the Fellowship Hall each Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 pm. Please contact Ed ‘t Hart for more information.

RYC– In God’s providence, the Reformed Youth Camp has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Special events are being planned for the summer.

UPDATE YOUR DIRECTORY INFORMATION– Now is a great time to submit, edit and verify your personal information in our church directory. You can update contact numbers and photos directly from the church website. If you need help with login or updating, please contact Debbie Davis at

NEW ONLINE GIVING OPTION– We’ve added an easy online giving “button” to the “Donate” page of the Covenant website. In partnership with the well-respected platform, we can accept almost “instant” payments. Of course, you’re still welcome to mail your tithes and offerings or use your own bank’s online bill-pay option.

EMAIL and ONLINE RESOURCES– While we’re not meeting “in person” each week, we’ll be making every effort to keep you up-to-date via email and the church website.  In addition, the elders and deacons are available to serve you and want to keep abreast of needs within the congregation.  You can also follow us on facebook at Covenant OPC.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED  – Due to the face-to-face and interactive nature of our Sunday School classes, and in order to allow our pastoral staff to focus on the shift to online services, all Sunday School classes have been suspended for three weeks. At that time, the session will re-evaluate and communicate any adjustments to the schedule.
